Objects Connect (formerly IdentityUnboxed) was developed by the Faith & Belief Forum with strategic funding from Culham St Gabriel’s Trust across two phases.

Pilot Phase (2022–23)
The initial pilot, IdentityUnboxed, was delivered in 10 London schools. It explored how faith-based objects in the home could spark meaningful conversations between children and parents, bringing family worldviews into classroom RE. The project aimed to raise awareness of Religion and Worldviews education beyond the classroom.

Expansion Phase (2023–24)
Building on the pilot, Objects Connect expanded to 20 schools across eight counties in the North West and West Midlands. The project deepened parental engagement through tailored CPD, inclusive resources, and adaptations for diverse school contexts. Over 247 parent responses showed strong engagement and impact. The project laid foundations for a multi-year partnership with Cambridge Interfaith Department.
