Our Work

We offer various funding opportunities and initiatives aimed at promoting a broad-based, critical and reflective education in religion and worldviews. Details of these can be found below.

Individual Funding

We run a number of scholarship programmes for people working in the field of religion and worldviews:

  • Doctoral Scholarship Programme
  • Masters Scholarship Programme
  • CTeach Scholarship Programme
  • Leadership Scholarship Programme.

Our scholarship programmes feature some or all of the following:

  • Funding towards your studies if appropriate
  • An online community of practice
  • Mentoring from an experienced professional or one-to-one support from one of our lead consultants
  • Advice and support on disseminating research and connecting with the wider religion and worldviews community.

Project Funding

We award project grants up to £30K. We welcome applications for small, new innovative projects or seed-corn funding; as well as applications for larger research projects or initiatives which support the Trust’s vision and strategic goals.

RE:ONLINE website

We champion quality education in religion and worldviews through our RE:ONLINE website. We regularly add content including blogs, new research and resources. The site also hosts well researched, reliable and curated subject knowledge as well as an archive of materials from conferences and events.

E-Learning Courses

We provide free professional development for teachers and others involved in an education in religion and worldviews on our E-Learning site. We offer courses to expand your knowledge, understanding and skills in areas such as research, curriculum, subject knowledge and religion and worldviews. Read an overview of all our courses.

Events

We host a biennial RExChange Online conference usually in October to bring researchers and teachers together. We also hold online seminars about our projects and research. See all our events
