Governance

Trustee Board

Our Trustee Board has 14 trustees who meet four times a year to oversee our strategy and objectives, monitor effectiveness and to make grant and other funding decisions. Some decision-making authority is delegated to two committees. You can find out more about our Trustees here.

Finance and General Purposes Committee

This committee is responsible for investment policy, budgeting, performance monitoring, organisational policies, employment matters, legal matters, the audit and risk management. This committee meets three times a year.

Grants, Programmes and Education Committee

This committee is responsible for grant making policy and processes, monitoring and evaluating grants, and overseeing the five external strategic objectives of the Trust. This committee meets five times a year.

Investments

Culham St Gabriel’s is an endowed Trust. At present we hold approximately £20 million assets. We use the profit generated by these investments to fund all our activities and grant making. Ethical and effective stewardship of our investments is of vital importance to us. Our investments are held in The CBF Church of England Investment Fund (Fact Sheet). Polices relating to the Fund can be found here.

Our investments are managed by CCLA. CCLA is one of the UK’s largest charity fund managers.  www.ccla.co.uk

Further information about our financial position, including annual return from investments can be found on the Charity Commission website.
