I am based in the East Midlands working in the School Improvement Team of Transform Trust MAT.  Part of my role is to lead RE across our 28 primary schools.

I applied for the Leadership Scholarship programme to deepen my understanding of research in RE and to enable me to translate this into practical support for schools. I am excited about the dedicated time and space for me to grow in my leadership. I love learning and this programme will bring the professional stretch that will allow me to continue to flourish.

In Religions and Worldviews Education, I am passionate about the opportunities it brings to our children to see themselves within the diverse culture which makes up our country. I believe that through understanding what people believe, and how this impacts their lives, children have the potential learn to be accepting and tolerant; to question critically the information which bombards them; and to develop a sense of their own beliefs within a diverse world.
