Emily Shortland

I teach on the RS PGCE at the University of Cambridge. Prior to this, I worked as an RS/Philosophy teacher in different teaching and learning and pastoral roles. My PhD builds on my Farmington scholarship, but relates specifically to ITE in RE. I am exploring how a reflective group pedagogy might contribute to enabling the emotional processes intrinsic to the PGCE year, with consideration of the complexities encountered in teaching RE.
