I both live and work in Scunthorpe in North Lincolnshire. My school is a one and a half form entry Church of England Primary school and it’s a wonderful, supportive place to work with pupils who make my heart sing.

I applied for the Leadership Programme because I love R.E. I love what R.E. can enable our pupils to achieve from their very earliest experiences of education and I want to develop skills that will enable me to become more research engaged. I also would love to be able to support more colleagues in delivering the R.E. our pupils deserve.

I think R.E. is an incredible, versatile subject which enables learners to become creative, thoughtful, collaborative, critical thinkers who can engage with others through debate, discussion and careful questioning. It has the power to change the world.
