‘Understanding Muslims Understanding Islam’, developed by RE Today Services, is a comprehensive resource that explores lived Islam through the voices of over 40 contemporary Muslims. Funded in part by Culham St Gabriel’s, the project began with research, school trials, and the formation of a theological advisory group. Using a religion and worldviews approach, the resource applies disciplinary tools and authentic sources from within Islamic tradition. It encourages pupils to reflect on their own worldviews through encounters with Muslims and Islam, fostering critical thinking and peaceful engagement in a diverse society.
