Conditions of grant

Culham St Gabriel’s reserves the right to place conditions on any grant awarded. Grant money is always to be used only for the purpose described in the application.

Conditions may include any of the following:

  • Applicant is required to submit an annual progress report to CSTG office
  • The project is timed to complete by a given date
  • The project is budgeted so that any underspend is returned to the trust
  • If the proposed project or course is not completed, the remainder of the award is to be returned to the trust
  • If the proposed project or course is not undertaken, the award is to be returned to the trust in full
  • CSTG should be informed of any other grant applications made and if the project succeeds in gaining any financial support from other sources, this must be declared immediately, and may lead to adjustment of the grant
  • If the proposal includes matched funding, CSTG’s offer will be conditional on the applicant gaining the full remainder of the amount needed from other sources
  • An external evaluation should be included in the project
  • An impact report is required, with an impact interview in some cases
  • A CSTG Trustee or staff member will sit on the project steering group
  • Any report or product from the project must acknowledge the support of CSTG
  • Applicants are required to account for any royalties that may accrue to them from publication
